Sewer Line Video Inspection
When something goes wrong in your sewer line, it’s crucial to find out exactly what the problem is and where it is in order to fix it correctly and cost-effectively. Sometimes, doing this necessitates a visual inspection of the inside of your sewer line. This can be done thanks to small waterproof cameras mounted to flexible rods that can be inserted into the pipe. The cameras are equipped with location detection technology so that our service experts can keep track of precisely where it is and identify the exact location of the problem.
If the video inspection has uncovered that your sewer line is showing signs of its age, cracking or leaking, we may recommend cured-in-place pipe as an effective, no-dig means of addressing the situation.
The procedure involves saturating a pre-measured length of flexible tube with liquid resin and loading it into an inversion chamber. The end of the tube is affixed to the opening of the damaged pipe and, using pressure, the inversion chamber pushes the tube into the pipe, turning it inside out and pressing it against the pipe’s walls. The new lining adopts the shape and bends of the existing pipe. Once the resin has cured, the new pipe within a pipe is hard, strong, impermeable, and durable. This method for replacing damaged sewer lines has proven to be very cost-effective as it is faster than traditional means and necessitates fewer workers to complete the job.
