Trenchless Sewer Line Replacement
When it’s time to replace your aging and failing sewer line, it’s good to know that a process is available that will protect your landscaping, paved driveway and porch by not requiring extensive digging. The procedure, known as pipe bursting, uses a cone shaped tool designed to break the old pipe apart as it is pulled through. The broken pieces of pipe are pushed aside into the surrounding soil making room for the new pipe that is dragged behind.
On top of maintaining the integrity of your landscaping, this technique is also advantageous for the shorter time and fewer workers needed to complete the job. That means cost savings for you.
Septic System Installation and Maintenance
The Vietzke Trenchless team is a perfect choice for all your septic system needs. Our service technicians are well-versed in the intricacies of septic systems. We can also design a system for new construction projects.
Septic systems are comprised of two major parts: the tank and the drainfield. The septic tank is designed to collect and temporarily hold the waste coming from your home. While in the tank, the heavier solids in the waste sink to the bottom to form sludge; and the grease, oil and soapsuds rise to the top forming scum. The tank retains these while allowing the remaining liquid waste to pass through to the drainfield to be percolated and purified in the surrounding soil.
For this reason, regular inspection is a must to keep an eye on the accumulation of scum and sludge in the tank. When it gets too full, a pump out or cleaning is needed to prevent them from passing into the drainfield where they could cause more serious damage to the system.
