Cured-In-Place Pipe Rehabilitation
If a video inspection of your sewer line uncovers cracks, or other signs of damage and aging, we may recommend cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) to restore the sewer line to good working order.
A premeasured length of flexible tubing is permeated with liquid resin and one end the tube is sealed shut. The tube is then loaded into an inversion chamber and the open end of the tube is fixed the outside of the damaged pipe. With the use of pressure, the tube is blown into the pipe, turning it inside out to adhere to the walls and mold to the shape and curves of the existing sewer line.
After the resin has cured, what remains is a strong, solid and seamless lining for the old pipe that is impermeable and durable. This process is far less invasive, faster and requires fewer workers than digging up the damaged pipe to replace it, making it a more cost-effective option.
Septic System Installation And Maintenance
Vietzke Trenchless is also a leading expert in septic systems. A septic system is made up of two main parts: the drainfield and the septic tank. The septic tank is designed to hold wastewater long enough to allow grease and soapsuds to float to the top and become scum and for heavier solid waste to sink to the bottom to become sludge. Then, as new waste enters the tank, the liquid waste is sent into the drainfield to percolate within the soil. The scum and solid waste are left behind in the tank. This is what necessitates the regular emptying and cleaning of the septic tank to prevent any solid waste or scum from moving into the drainfield where it can cause a clog and lead to the system’s malfunction.
